Wisconsin Regional ’09 USA
The AFS Wisconsin Regional 2009 is now in the history books. Despite a low turnout at the show, and the weather could not be blamed this year as it was a heat wave, Synchro32 came away with many solid leads and kept our good name center stage in the marketplace. It is always a pleasure to meet and greet existing Synchro32 customers and to see the other vendors that I have become friends with. Doing exhibitions is like a circuit, the same vendors are generally at each show and you get to know them quite well and help each other out.
Expositions, such as the AFS Wisconsin Regional, are very important to the industry. The ancient art of transforming molten metal into usable end products is a constantly evolving industry with new processes, methods, and technology.
These expositions give metal casters the opportunity to see what is new in the market place that will improve their bottom line and also to produce higher quality castings safely. During times of recession, metal casters are always looking for ways to conserve cash flow while also making improvements that will go straight to the bottom line.
Progressive metal casters that plan on surviving an economic downturn find that it is an ideal time to install new software, such as the world's leading metal casting specific software Synchro32. During these slower than normal times, there is more time available to devote to the installation and most importantly the training on the software. Synchro32 is very user friendly and most importantly institutive – as it accurately mimics the process flow of a metal caster – from the front gate to the shipping dock and everywhere in between. |
